COPYWRITER’S NOTES
Key positioning decisions
Hero headline shift: Moved away from “The Smart Way to Buy” (generic) to “You Don’t Need More Options” — directly addresses the buyer’s actual pain state (overwhelm, too much choice) and positions the service as editorial, not another directory.
Independence language: Elevated throughout. The original POC mentioned independence but buried it. Final copy leads with it in the hero trust line, opens Section 4 with it, and uses it structurally in every audience segment.
Tone: Confident but not cold. Knowledgeable without being condescending. The buyer is smart — the copy treats them that way. Avoiding both the breathless developer voice and the dry financial-advice voice.
CTA consistency: Primary CTA (quiz) is always first. Secondary (consultation) always follows. Reassurance line always present beneath both. This pattern repeats at top and bottom of page.
What changed from POC: Problem section tightened and made more direct. How It Works headlines are now action-oriented outcomes, not descriptions of process. Why Independent section opens with a reframe of the industry before the four pillars. Who We Help copy is sharper and buyer-benefit led. Final CTA headline is a question — creates engagement without hype.
