Home Services — Email Sequence
Campaign: Home Services · 3 Emails · A/B Subject Lines · Instantly-Ready
This is the broad-net version of the Home Services sequence — written to resonate across any home service business without being specific to a trade or industry. Use it as a catch-all campaign for mixed lead lists, or as a warm-up sequence before routing replies into a more tailored sub-segment flow.
Emotional core: Every email is built around the same moment — the work day is done, but admin isn't. The family is in the other room. Email 3 closes with the landing page tagline verbatim: 'Stop spending your evenings on admin instead of with your family.' This is intentional — if they've seen the page, it will resonate. If they haven't, it plants the thought.
The Sequence
Email 1 — The Hook
| |
|---|
| Email | Email 1 — The Hook — Send: Day 1 |
| Subject A | the part of running a service business no one talks about |
| Subject B | {firstName} — what does your evening look like? |
| Personalise | {firstName}, came across {company} in {suburb} — |
| Body | Hey {firstName}, |
| |
| Most home service business owners I talk to are genuinely good at what they do. |
| |
| But there's a part of the job nobody warned them about — the part that happens after the work is done. |
| |
| The quoting. The scheduling. The job that ran over and now the whole next day needs rearranging. It's all waiting at home, on the phone or the laptop, eating into the hours that were supposed to belong to you and your family. |
| |
| We build custom quoting, scheduling, and job management tools for home service businesses like {company} — shipped in days, not months. You own the code, no monthly fees. |
| |
| We recently built one for a service business owner who told us the first thing he noticed wasn't the time it saved — it was that he started eating dinner with his family without checking his phone. |
| |
| If that hits close to home, happy to show you what we built. |

| |
| Day 1: You tell us what's eating your evenings. We scope the fix. Fixed price quote within 24 hours. |
| Day 2–7: We build in the open. Daily updates. Live preview the whole way. |
| Day 8–10: It's live. Your team is using it. Full code handover — it's yours. |
| |
| No monthly fees. No lock-in. No six-month project that never ships. |
| |
| We're not just building software. We're trying to make sure your business runs during business hours — not into your evenings. |

Segment 1: Construction Companies

| Most construction business owners I talk to are good at the work. Really good. |
| |
| But at 8pm, when the tools are down and the crew's gone home, they're still at the kitchen table — quoting the next job, updating the schedule, chasing a subcontractor who didn't check in. |

Segment 2: Automotive Businesses

| Body | Hey {firstName}, |
| |
| Running a workshop is a full day's work. But for most owners I talk to, the day doesn't end when the last car rolls out. |
| |
| There are bookings to confirm, job cards to update, customers to call back, and a schedule to rebuild when something ran over. All of it happening at home, on a phone, in the only few hours that were supposed to be yours. |
| |
| We build custom quoting, scheduling, and job management tools for service businesses like {company} — shipped in days, not months. You own the code. |
| |
| We recently built one for an automotive workshop. Took 6 days. The owner said the first week after, he actually watched a full movie with his partner without checking his phone. |

Segment 3: Professional Services
Pain point: manual quoting, scattered scheduling, and client admin that bleeds into personal time. Example build: custom quoting and client job management tool. | Body | Hey {firstName}, |
| |
| Most professional services owners I speak to didn't build their business to spend evenings on admin. |
| |
| But that's where a lot of them end up. Quoting in a spreadsheet after dinner. Chasing a client response at 9pm. Rebuilding a schedule because two tools didn't sync and something fell through. |
| |
| The work is done. The admin isn't. |

Segment 4: Real Estate Agencies
Pain point: manual appraisal scheduling, scattered vendor follow-ups, and after-hours catch-up. Example build: custom appraisal scheduling and follow-up management tool. Time saved: evenings back — no more vendor follow-ups and appraisal admin at home. Replaced: spreadsheets and CRMs that weren't built for agency life.

| Body | Hey {firstName}, |
| |
| Nobody gets into real estate to spend their evenings chasing vendor follow-ups on their phone. |
| |
| But that's the reality for most agency principals I speak to. Appraisals booked manually. Follow-ups living in a spreadsheet no one updates. A CRM that wasn't built for how an agency actually runs — so the gaps get filled after hours, at home, when the day should already be over. |
| |
| We build custom quoting, scheduling, and job management tools for service businesses like {company} — shipped in days, not months. You own the code. |
| |
| We recently built a scheduling and follow-up tool for a similar agency. 6 days. The principal said it was the first time in a long time they drove home and left work at the office. |

| |
| Day 1: You tell us what's following you home at night. We scope the fix. Fixed price quote within 24 hours. |
| Day 2–7: We build it. Daily updates. Live preview as it comes together. |
| Day 8–10: Live, deployed, full code handover. Your team is using it. |
| |
| You own the code. No monthly fees. No lock-in. No software that costs forever. |

Loading into Instantly
Follow these steps to set up each segment as its own campaign in Instantly.
| |
|---|
| Step | Action |
| 1. Create the campaign | In Instantly, go to Campaigns → New Campaign. Name it clearly: e.g. 'StackFast — Construction' so segments don't get mixed. |
| 2. Add your lead list | Upload your lead CSV with columns: firstName, company, suburb. Map them to Instantly merge tags {firstName}, {company}, {suburb}. |
| 3. Add email steps | Add 3 email steps. Set delays: Email 1 = Day 0, Email 2 = +2 days, Email 3 = +4 days (relative to first send). |
| 4. A/B subject lines | For each step, use Instantly's A/B subject line feature. Paste Subject A and Subject B from this document. Instantly will split traffic 50/50. |
| 5. Set the CTA link | In each email body, hyperlink the CTA text to the UTM URL provided. Check UTM parameters are intact after pasting. |
| 6. Sending settings | Recommended: 20-30 emails/day per mailbox to warm accounts. Enable open and reply tracking. Set reply detection to pause sequence on reply. |
| 7. Google Maps personalisation | Enrich your lead list with suburb data from Google Maps before uploading. The {suburb} variable in Email 1 is the key personalisation hook. |
UTM tracking: All CTAs use utm_source=instantly&utm_medium=cold-email&utm_campaign=home-services. Update utm_campaign per segment in Instantly if you want segment-level attribution in GA4 (e.g. utm_campaign=construction, utm_campaign=automotive).
